Crossed Fingers emoji

What does 🤞 mean?

🤞 is a hand with the index and middle fingers crossed. It comes in five skin tones.

It means hoping for luck: an exam, a job interview, good weather, a delivery that shows up on time. Sent to someone else, it's 'fingers crossed for you'. Some people know the gesture as hiding a fib behind your back, but in chats it almost always means good luck.
