👏 · People & Body › Hands · Emoji 0.6 (2010)
👏 shows two hands clapping, with little motion lines around them. It comes in five skin tones.
Mostly it's applause: congratulations, well done, bravo. Put one between every word, though, and it becomes emphasis, the online way of clapping out a point: 'drink 👏 more 👏 water'. That style reads as sassy, so it fits a rant better than a birthday card.
